What This Privacy Policy Covers
This policy covers how Polite in Public treats personal information that Polite in Public collects and receives, including information related to your past use of Polite in Public products and services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, birth date, gender, ZIP code, occupation, industry, and personal interests.
Personal Information
When you sign up for Polite in Public we ask you to provide your email address, birthdate, zip code, mobile phone number, mobile carrier and answer questions regarding your personal preferences.
We use your email address to send you updates and information about Polite in Public projects. If you do not wish to receive email correspondence from Polite in Public, you can opt out at any time.
We use your mobile phone number and carrier information to send you images you request on the website in the form of SMS text messages. Files and SMS text messages will only be sent by your request.
The personal preferences you fill out help us to customize your Polite in Public experience. You will never hear from Polite in Public regarding projects or information you have not previously told us you are interested in.

Polite in Public is designed for users 13 and older. Prospective members 13 - 17 should get their parents’ permission to join the site. Galleries containing mature content are intended for members 17 and older. No one under the age of 17 will be allowed to view galleries intended for mature audiences.

Polite in Public does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

Polite in Public displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click targeted ads meet the targeting criteria—for example, women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area. Polite In Public neither endorses the advertised product nor reviews the advertisers website.
Polite in Public does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.
